The Forum: A CSR Immersion Program

October 29-November 1, 2019 | Chicago, IL

The Forum is an interactive and comprehensive two-and-a-half-day program for corporate citizenship professionals with three to five years of experience in the field to experience immersive, hands-on education within a small cohort. Not only will you develop useful skills, the network and connections fostered during The Forum will help propel your career.

During this intensive workshop, leading industry practitioners and members of the ACCP team will facilitate interactive learning sessions on topics such as:

  • Aligning Corporate Citizenship to the Business
  • Employee Engagement, Volunteerism, and Giving
  • Developing and Growing Signature Programs

Action, On Purpose

Following two days of in-depth learning, all participants will have the opportunity to put the learnings to action through a hands-on, group exercise. You and your team will make key decisions about the structure and execution of a contributions program, which you’ll build entirely from the ground up. The session will culminate with a round of group presentations and a graduation ceremony to acknowledge the accomplishments of the group.

Connections + Community

In addition to educational sessions, participants will have intentional time for networking with peers and educators, providing you with the opportunity to forge a career-long network. We believe that connectivity is one of the greatest assets in our field and The Forum will connect you with your peers and with helpful resources. All participants will also receive a comprehensive set of materials on planning and managing an effective corporate contributions program.

Learning Objectives

By the end of The Forum, participants will be able to
