To that end she is focused on raising the profile of ACCP as the voice of corporate philanthropy.

Most recently, as an independent consultant, she provided strategic guidance in the areas of board relations, membership development, programs and marketing to several associations and a start-up gaming company.  Passionate about STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Math) education, Maryann is frequently called upon to speak on technology industry issues and is co-author, along with Alan I. Prior to TechAmerica, Maryann ran two Chambers of Commerce. The first was in Orange City, Florida, where she established the city’s first historical tour and is acknowledged for her contributions to “Our Story of Orange City, Florida”, published in 1999. Maryann is extremely proud that she oversaw parades at each of the Chambers and has frequently been heard to say, “You haven’t lived until you’ve run a parade that shut down a federal highway on a Saturday in November.”

Born in Youngstown, Ohio, graduated from Youngstown State University, Maryann currently lives in Oviedo, Florida with her husband and their two dogs.
