Julie lives on the front lines of helping corporations, advocacy organizations, and political campaigns leverage thought leadership and data-driven communications to drive social impact and influence real policy change.

She founded and leads GSG’s Corporate Impact Practice which helps companies reframe and elevate their CSR programs, create impact-driven initiatives, and build and protect their brands in the new political environment. She is also the primary author of GSG’s Annual Business & Politics study, widely-recognized as the authoritative business voice on the role that companies play on political and social issues. Her work in the corporate impact space is reinforced by her decades of experience working on political campaigns and helping elect many of the nation’s progressive leaders.

Julie frequently speaks and is quoted on corporate engagement on political and social issues, public opinion, and politics in outlets such as the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Politico, Newsweek, and others. She is also the recipient of City and State NY’s Responsible 100 award, honoring top corporate citizens in NYC. Julie is a graduate of Cornell University and received her master’s degree in public policy from the University of Chicago.
