Advocacy & RepresentationACCP monitors legislative and regulatory proposals on behalf of its member companies. When feasible, the Association works in partnership with other organizations to carry out its public policy objectives. ACCP's principal partner is the US Chamber of Commerce Center for Corporate Citizenship. ACCP occasionally develops position papers on key issues affecting the corporate contributions, community relations and employee volunteer fields. With a 501(c)(6) tax status, ACCP can press for legal and tax changes to make corporate contributions activities more effective, for example:
