Monday Evening Event

On Monday evening ACCP Forum attendees will travel offsite to the Mutual of Omaha Headquarters. Once on site, guests will be escorted up to the historic Crisstal Room which boasts beautiful views of downtown Omaha. The Crisstal Room was named after Mabel Criss, one of the two co-founders of the now Fortune 500 company in 1909. Mabel, who decorated and managed the room, designed it to be a wonderful dining space for employees, especially for female employees who were driven in by their families to work at the bank from local farms. In 1996 the Crisstal Room closed as a full-service restaurant and is now used for board dinners, receptions, meetings and as a community space. Attendees will enjoy an opening reception, participate in an exciting and interactive game show and feast on a wonderful Nebraskan dinner. Attendees will really feel on top of the center of the US at this venue!

Tuesday Evening Event

ACCP Forum attendees will have the unique opportunity to explore ConAgra’s Culinary Kitchen. It was designed nine years ago with the intention of driving foodservice sales by developing culinary solutions across the company’s foodservice platforms. Since then, ConAgra’s focus has changed to consumer foods that combine classic culinary techniques with food science to create the “foods you love.” Today ConAgra has eight classically trained chefs who have various backgrounds from food science to process engineering. The place where ideas come to life is a 2000 sq. ft. state of the art kitchen that is the focal point for creating innovation, connecting with customers and creating a food culture across the organization. Forum attendees will enjoy this once in a lifetime chance to enjoy a variety of food at different stations around the kitchen.
